Hydromer offers three mainstream PTFE liner production processes: Free Extrusion/Over-The-Wire Extrusion (OTW)/Film Cast (OTW). Our engineers will select the right process based on different application scenarios and catheter designs to better match the combination of dimensions, strength, and flexibility.

MatrixLiner® Extruded PTFE Liner:

Precise Dimensional & Performance Control

Hydromer’s free extrusion process deagglomerates PTFE resin crystals and forms aligned fibrillar structures, delivering exceptional strength and rigidity to the tubing.

The product includes the ToughFlex® (TF) series for high yield strength and the ElastiFlex® (EF) series for high elongation, offering greater flexibility for innovative medical catheter designs and customized performance.

MorphoLiner® Cast OTW PTFE Liner:

Ultimate Softness & Flexibility

Hydromer’s dip coating process produces extremely thin PTFE liners with no molecular orientation along individual polymer chains, maintaining isotropic properties and delivering superior softness and flexibility.

  • Supports extreme wall thicknesses: 0.00025" / 0.001"
  • Ultra tight tolerances down to ± 0.0001"

Mini Tubing

We employ sophisticated processes to manufacture ultra-small inner diameter PTFE Mini Tubing, meeting the stringent precision requirements of high-end medical devices. Particularly for devices demanding superior stability and enhanced control, professional manipulation of the device distal end can be achieved by routing control wires through internal lumens.
Finer than a strand of hair. More precise than a pen tip.
  • Ultra-small inner diameter: 0.004-0.014″

Multi-lumen Tubing

We support custom development of multi-lumen tubing based on your drawings. jMedtech’s thin-walled PTFE multi-lumen tubing features one large central lumen and 1–4 satellite lumens, helping simplify the fabrication of deflectable catheters and enable advanced catheter designs.
  • Wall Thickness: ≥0.002″
  • Inner Diameter: 0.010-0.300″
  • Satellite lumens: available in external, internal or embedded designs; round, oval, etc.
